Hidden Lagoon Super Race Track And Golf

I visited the Hidden Lagoon Putt Putt Center with a total of 7 people with me (2 forty something mothers, three 13 year olds, an 8 year old & a 5 year old). We are not partiers. We are a family group taking our children out for FAMILY fun & activities to enjoy our vacation. We behaved ourselves. Our children behaved themselves perfectly. I received the most rancid service you could imagine. I ALWAYS take my family on our MANY TIMES PER YEAR trips to PCB to the Putt Putt centers by the PCB Wal-Mart. Tonight we actually chose this particular center because it was more geographically convenient for us because we are staying at the Sunrise Beach Condo Complex. I will definitely be returning to our usual venues and not your establishment. We arrived at the golf center around 9:40pm. Nicki rang up my family (1 adult, one 13 yr old, an 8 year old and a 5 year old). Since 6 year olds and under are free, my total came to $33. Nicki hands me a receipt and immediately asks me if she gave me one because she couldn’t remember. I had to show it to her to prove it. (Strike #1) Then she rings up my friend who tells her she has herself & two 13 yr olds. Nicki rings up $88 (??) and then changes it to $44. My friend hands her a credit card, not realizing it was 11.00/per person since Nicki doesn’t tell us the cost, my friend signs the slip and we go on to play. At about hole 6 we realize that she was overcharged. We decided that it would be better to wait until we finished so that she could see our whole party and know that we weren’t trying to be dishonest about how many people were with us (being that her memory is clearly lacking).When we finished and I approached her and explained the situation, she brought Ed into the equation because she said she couldn’t help us. So, I then explained my situation to Ed. He asked us why we paid $44 if it was wrong. REALLY!!!???? HOW RUDE. It’s not our responsibility to run the cash register correctly. She didn’t greet us with any information about prices, so it was easily misunderstood. So at this point, Nicki proceeds to tell us that she DID NOT ring it up wrong, that she only rings up what the customer tells her to (WOW, that’s smart business.) and that she is CERTAIN that my friend told her she had 4 people with her. At this pt, I can tell that this is going to be made a huge ordeal all over my $11 and THEIR mistake.Ed goes into the office and says he needs MY receipt (I WAS NOT CHARGED INCORRECTLY). He has to refund me, because I paid cash and my friend paid with a cc, and that I would have to deal with giving the money to my friend. (WOW – GREAT BUSINESS SKILLS YET AGAIN).I told him just to give it to her that I didn’t need to be involved. He then says that since I was rude, he wouldn’t give her the $. WOW!!! So because he is an IDIOT and thinks that because I was trying to help him understand what was going on, he can STEAL from us. BC that is exactly what happened. Nicki overcharged us and then wouldn’t fix it. So, when I disagreed with the idea of him not refunding the money that he was STEALING from us, he threatened to call the police. I calmly told him that would be great because I would love for someone of authority to take care of all of this.The SECURITY GUARD / BOUNCER – NOT policeman – said that it was a civil matter and that I had to leave. This is an absolutely absurd situation. My friend is actually a Destin vacationer and I brought her here to help her see the neat features of PCB. Well, how about that! I hope I can stop TONS of people from choosing Hidden Lagoon. This is NUTS.What turned into nasty customer service was twisted by Ed into my friend, THE CUSTOMER, not DESERVING a refund for money that Nicki charged her that was INCORRECT in the 1st place, which in my opinion is THEFT!!!! I am so angry that I could go on and on, but I will stop with 1 1/2 pgs. Hopefully you get the point.
