Colonel House Motel

Not a bad place at all for $40. It served my purposes well. Cheap, clean, easy. The office staff was friendly, but not OVERLY friendly. I got the impression that most guests were of the "by the week" variety, so Im certain they didnt get daily housekeeping, but the rooms I stayed in were not fancy, yet clean and had exactly what I needed at a GREAT price. Also, I was not held to the "No Check Ins Before XX o'clock" that the larger hotel chains insist upon.


I will be back.

I didn't even make it to the office to check in before I was threatened with physical violence.. Some meth head in the parking lot was threatening to stab me when I first got there so I bailed.. :(

I would tell the people thinking about staying that , 40.00 a night is a gr8 price. the staff if working on cleaning and fixing up the rooms and outside. The motel is old and I think it haves that filling. There is people that stay fulltime there so its friendly. I would say its homely. If u just wont to getaway for the night nice place/ also the cleaning lady lives on site ,can be reached at anytime.

no housekeeping service and nobody that stays there knows how to mind their own business.
