Eden Rehabilitation Suites and Green House Homes Inc

My aunt has been living in the Eden Meadows Green House West for seven months and the care she receives is excellent. The caregivers are extraordinary people who daily demonstrate respect and devotion to the residents. Their training goes well beyond learning to care for residents’ physical needs but also includes how to respond to their residents’ emotional needs.
Leaving late one evening I saw a caregiver kneeling next to a chair; she was finishing reading a daily devotion with a resident who was having trouble seeing the words clearly. I witnessed a new caregiver being given tips on talking to and reassuring a confused and upset resident. Never have I seen a caregiver in a bad mood or impatient.
When my aunt pushes her button for assistance they always enter the room with a smile and the question, “How can I help you?” The care is so effortlessly offered and given, that while gradually the level of care my aunt needs has increased, she still sees herself is functioning fairly independently.
The facility is relatively new and the spaces are inviting and homelike. Eden Meadows tries to make everything comfortable for the residents. In the case of my small, wheelchair bound aunt; they even lowered the sink in her room so that reaching the faucet was easier for her.
It gives our family great piece of mind to know our aunt is safe and well cared for from a group of caregivers who are so kind and concerned.

My mother stayed here and was so pleased! All of the nursing staff was amazing, very caring! A couple full time girls went above and beyond for her! Some things include doing her hair, giving her back massages and best of all acting like family. I would reccomend to all a at home feel with caring aides and nurses! What more to ask for when you are healing!! Mother loved it!

Worst care ever. I thought with the way the place looked on the inside that it would be the best nursing care around. Boy was I was WRONG!! My mother loves cranberry juice and has since I can remember and apparently juice is too expensive for my mother to drink when she likes. I spoke with some of the caregivers in the facility and they explained that having juice all the time is over their budget and cannot happen anymore. The caregivers are also overworked and it showed. There was also a nurse in particular I remember who was very demanding on the caregivers even with family members in ear and view shot of the nurse. I also witnessed another nurse almost giving a patient the wrong pills. It took the patient to realize the color of their pills were wrong. Unbelievable! Looks can be deceiving so don't let the looks fool you at this place. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE WHEN CONSIDERING A NURSING HOME FOR YOUR LOVED ONE! YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!
