- 1) Dissolution of Marriage (Divorce) Divorce or Dissolution is the legal termination of a marriage, and includes the determination of rights and responsibilities such as Equitable Distribution (division of assets and liabilities), spousal support, children's issues (including timesharing and parental responsibility), and child support. At our firm, we effectively combine cutting edge litigation ability with a view towards dispute resolution and the protection of children. 2) Child/Spousal Support Modification Under Florida law, child support is often modifiable when unforeseen circumstances, such as the recent economic downturn, effect a person's income. In such an event, a person may not be able to make their required support payments, or may only be able to make partial payments. We can work with the other party to attempt to reach a temporary arrangement for reduced child support payments, as well as seek long term modification of support where circumstances warrant. 3) Collaborative Divorce Collaborative Law (also called Collaborative Practice, Collaborative Divorce, and Collaborative Family Law) is a family law process enabling couples who have decided to separate or end their marriage to work with their lawyers and, on occasion, other family professionals, to resolve their family law matter OUTSIDE the courtroom, giving the parties greater certainty and a savings in litigation costs. 4) Relocation Relocation: Often times a parent may need to relocate their residence for work or other essential reasons. When a parent does so, Florida law is very specific as to when and why a parent may relocate with their child or children. 5) Paternity: Actions determine issues of parentage, parental responsibility, time sharing, and child support for people who have children together but are unmarried.

I was referred to Brent by a close friend for a personal matter that I was dealing with. Not only did he handle my situation but it was in a way that took all of the stress off my mind. I have since then worked with him in matters of business and recommended him to friends in criminal matters. All with outstanding success and a level of convenience that I have found to be amazing.
I highly recommend him.

Avoid this attorney if at all possible. Both Brent and his secretary are incompetent. I found myself telling him what to do at certain points. If it wasn't for additional counsel I wouldn't have seen my child for several more months. In court he is very timid and barely said anything. Motions he was supposed to file he didn't and responses he should have filled he never did. Not to mention that either Brent or his staff changed a date on completely valid paper work and because of that the paperwork became invalid. This paperwork was extremely important and there was no reason for a date to be changed. The error made by Brent or his staff completely changed the outcome of the custody case. After removing him as counsel because of his terrible work and his personal errors on the case he wouldn't refund any of the thousands of dollars in unearned fees(more than $6,000). He never provided monthly statements breaking down how he was spending his time on your case and often would ignore emails from you all together. Please don't allow this attorney to represent you in any matter.
