We have resident centered care for our patients that is offered by staff that understands the importance of providing individualized care. We are equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment that includes HUR equipment for upper and lower extremity treatment which promotes muscle strengthening. We are also equipped with an ALTER G which is an anti-gravity treadmill that helps mobility for residents that have varying weight baring status. We are proud to have a staff that is fluent in several languages to aid our residents and families in positive communication. Our staff is fluent in English, Spanish, and Creole. We have a proven track record of having excellent success rates with discharging our rehab residents to their prior level of function and in several instances, residents will leave our center performing tasks that haven’t been done in years prior to admitting to our center. Family member been here 3 days and so far very bad experience. Negligent with hygiene care, diaper changes, and administration of meds.
I would actively talk someone from bringing their loved ones to palm garden. My mother's sugar kept dropping and they are woefully understaffed. My mom actually got worse there. If I had not come in I believe my mom would have slipped into a diabetic coma. This place is the worst. I ended up calling 911 to get her out of there.
Palm Gardens has been a blessing for my family and I. I was the primary care giver to my mom (Eva Llapur) 98 yrs. old, in my home, for many years. I was unable to leave my home while caring for her because no one was available to help me out. Placing her at nursing home was very difficult for me to bare.I felt no one else could give her the love and care I provided.
I found out differently when placement in a nursing home, became absolutely necessary. My mother is getting excellent care and treated very kindly.
I highly recommend anyone who has a loved one with the same dilemma as I was faced with, to visit Palm Gardens of Orlando.

The staff was so warm and welcoming. Not only were they some of the most caring group of people I have ever met, they were always professional and proactive in communicating with myself and my wife during her entire stay. I am so glad we had the opportunity to try a different rehab facility because they truly are the best in the area.
