Child SupportIn Florida, contributing to child support is an requirement by both parents for the benefit of the child/children. Child support is an obligation to the child/children, regardless of whether the parents are married or not. The amount of child support is determined based upon a formula, evaluating factors such as: both parents’ gross income/earnings, number of children, child care costs, health insurance costs, uncovered medical costs, and the number of overnight visits each parent has the with child/children.
Child Custody and Visitation
Spousal SupportPost-Nuptial Agreement can include issues such as: the division of property, keeping certain property separate (or non-marital), alimony/spousal support, how to handle the residence, etc. Because Post-Nuptial Agreements serve to waive rights that you may have under Florida law, it is important to ensure that full financial disclosure occurs. Post-Nuptial Agreements can be attacked if certain prerequisites/precautions are not met.
