Family Medical Center

I been a patient at this facility for over 20 years. The staff is very professional and I have found that the review already posted on this sight to be very difficult to fathom. I have always been in a private room. In fact of all the examining rooms I have been in, they have had only one examination table. As for Dr. Newbold, he was my primary care physician and found him to be very thorough and caring. Unfortunately, he has left the practice to serve in the military as a physician.

I was LET GO by this practice after telling Dr. Newbold that I could not afford all his tests. I told him that I just wanted basic medical care. He said then " I just don't know how to treat you". He definitely wants the prestige title of Dr. rather than truly caring for his patients and is interested in making money !

From my experience today, be aware that it is hard to find a parking space and on Monday morning difficult to get a seat in the large waiting area. The actual area for medical treatment is a huge room with patients separated by curtains. It struck me as an assembly line. The overall experience made me feel the concern was more to make money than to take care of the patient. I did not want to take a chance so did not have my colonoscopy.
