I have been coming to this salon for years. Theres just something different about Corto's than your typical hair salon. Most salons in hamburg are dingy and look trashy but when i go to Cortos I feel like I have been transported to a trendy New York salon. if you want a cheap, quick and dirty cut, dont go here, but if you like to keep it classy, this is your place.

I had a great experience with Denise my stylist. She really represented the salon just great. I will be back.

I had gone in to get an all over color done. At the time we both agreed that my "ends" were darker the the rest of my hair. She recommend a color remover and the a fresh color. Well NOT ONLY did she not let me know that is was alot more in price... but she put the color remover on all my hair and now i still have the same problem!!!

I used to love going to get my hair done at Corto's Salon. I had two different stylist cut and color my hair and both did a fantastic job. However, Corto's clearly advertises that credit card is an acceptable payment option. Upon paying for my hair services with both stylists, on separate occasions, I was pressured to pay cash. When I asked why this is, Both stylist explained that they would have a longer period of time to wait for their payment when a bill is paid via credit card. Not only was I completely disgusted with this brash request by both stylists, I was frustrated with the Salon's "false" advertising. If credit card is an acceptable payment option, maybe Corto's needs to teach their stylist a lesson in business etiquette. Or, clearly state to the customer that cash is the preferred payment option. What sour taste that whole experience left me with. I will never go to Cortos again.

Courteous to walkins. Encourages return visit or phone call if anything isn't 100%. Quickly accommodate walk in customers.
