Tire Kingdom

I had ordered 4 tires online but not had yet paid. My was using my Goodyear credit card for 4 tires w/ $80 mail in rebate. That's a deal! Unfortunately when I went in they did not accept that credit card. My tires were bad and did not want to wait another day. I asked the guy if he could match the price I'd keep appointment. He seemed overworked and underpaid but continued to work hard on the defaulty system he asked me to hold and got back on phone and said $500 and something. I told Chip there's no way! I know the deal I had was better he kept working at it and the promotion was buy 2 get 2 free w/installation package OR get $100 off selected tires I had already chosen the good year weather tires. I asked if to try the $100 off instead and it came up to 408.00 W/ installation and taxes. And I still got my mail in rebate if $80.00!!! So I paid $82 per tire with taxes and installation and they were good tires! I didn't get the matched price of $370.00 but 408.00 which is a few $ difference it was worth it working with Chip! I found the tires I need in stock at this location and scheduled an online appointment for 9:30am the following morning.



I arrived at 9:15am and check-in, the first thing I'm told is that "The online scheduling system will let you pick whatever time you want but those times aren't always available" and that it's going to be a while because there are a lot of people in front of me.



That already ticked me off, but then he says "hmmm...let me check something" and disappears into the garage area. Then he came back and said that they don't have my tires. When I told him that the online store told me they were available AND to "schedule an appointment" he claims that the online system isn't always right and stated I would have to come back at 4pm.



I find it hard to believe that both pieces of the online system are flawed. I think someone showed up earlier than me without an appointment and they sold that person the tires I had reserved.



I came back at 4...I've been here for over two hours and I'm still not done!
