Metropolitan Community College, founded in 1974, is a full-service public community college supported by the taxpayers of Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy and Washington counties in Nebraska. It offers certificate and degree programs to students in subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, foreign languages, social studies, computer technology and programming. In addition, its curriculum also includes visual arts, social sciences, networking, Web development, American Sign Language and interior designing. The college provides facilities that include library, press room, parking area and career network center. The college provides online classes, grants and scholarships and offers career counseling, academic guidance and financial aid services. Metropolitan Community College is located in Omaha, Neb.
