        I have a disability including Stage IV cancer and mobility issues. I had arranged with my local city provider to have my trash picked up curbside, however, most times they won't do it-theyll just drive by, they'll leave cans on road and I have to get them, and most recently, claimed they were too heavy. I tested pull weight on each can. One was 12.5 lbs and one was 10.5 lbs. Ridiculous. Not a 'heavy' issue, but a 'lazy' issue. There are a lot of very difficult jobs in the world, but being a 'bad' trash man is pretty shameful. This company appears to have very poor management with no control of their people. Coming from 30+ years of management experience, I know what I'm talking about. I hate being forced into using sub-par companies as there are no other options.

        STAY AWAY!!! This is the worst company I've dealt with in my 20 years of business experience. They will quote you low enough to get your business then raise the rates or add random fees within a few months. You can never get out of the contract because it automatically renews for 3 YEARS!!! Waste Connections engages in such practices as not allowing customers to read the contracts they are signing, not providing them with copies of the contracts because it's signed digitally and falsely representing their rates which they have a built in clause that allows them to immediately change once the consumer is locked into a contract.

        I have to admit I never thought there would be a difference between trash companies, HOWEVER there is! I would highly recommend going with Waste Management or Republic or ANY OTHER company than dealing with this one. No matter what they promise you or how much you THINK you'll save, don't be fooled. We signed a contract for an exact agreed upon price only to have them break that deal and raise our rates only 9 months into a 36 month contract. When you try to cancel your contract you’ll be entangled in a nit picky legal battle with one of their minions.

        Equally problematic for the client. Pick up at their leisure, but want paid up front. Claim the roads were bad when they were dry. Every excuse you can think of. Purchased roll offs from them and couldn't get them swapped out. When they did, they just drop them anywhere they feel like putting them then complain when we asked that they be moved. Claimed we were being done a favor. Messy customer care at best.

        Terrible Company. Does not tak...

        Terrible Company. Does not take care of their injured employees. I recommend using Waste Management. I do not ever suggest that anyone seeks employment with Waste Connections as well. If you do and ever get hurt on the job they will fight you with their cheap insurance company. Service on a scale from 1-10 is about a 3.
