Rudy's Pet Shop & Feed Store

It's really sad when I prefer PetSmart or PetCo to a local business. Integrity is one of the most important things when it comes to running a business like this, and this company has none. Do not believe them when they say a bird is hand tamed. Do not believe them when they say they will work with you after the fact. They're not, and they won't. They will string you along, stand you up, shoo you off. Be careful buying birds from them, the untrained staff may be hurting the birds.

Remember, word of mouth is your best and WORST advertisement.

I have not been there in a few years but when I did go it was pretty regularly. I enjoyed browsing the store and checking out all the birds, especially Popeye. Rudy and Andy were always kind and helpful . It was an entertaining and educational experience for me and my children.

I had only shopped for my birds and their supplies at major chains or at birds etc. (which I found dirty, and was lied to numerous times regarding birds ages by the OWNER) until I found Rudy's. They are amazing and it's worth driving the 50 miles out of my way EVERY time. The other stores are within 2 miles. If that doesn't speak volumes then nothing will!

Great staff! prices are okay depending on what your looking for, Dog food don't recommend, but bird food and other items are priced very well!

I only buy dog food but their prices are fair. It seems the other pieces of equipment like for fish seem reasonably priced. When I can't accompany my fiancée, they will help her carry the heavy bag of dog food to her car. Not sure why the person from 2005 gave 4 stars if they liked everything about them though.
