Quality Inn Southwest

The first clue was the visibly tattered and stained blinds and curtains that could be seen from the parking lot. The folks at the front desk speak English, but they don't appear very enthusiastic about their jobs. Then we discovered that a previous guest's cold soggy coffee grounds were still in our in-room coffee maker. The wireless Internet works, but it's unacceptably slow; we measured an average download speed of less than 500 kbps--pathetic. Our guess is that the place is suffering from a terminal case of bad management. Most Comfort Inns/Suites are reasonably well run and maintained, but this one is an exception. The nicest thing we can say about it is that it's right next door to a Whataburger.
