My father went here for recovery from surgery. This facility is disgusting. Doctors that maybe spend 5 minutes a week with their patients, staff nurses that falsify care reports and contracted nurses that complain about low hours and low pay. If the my father was asleep due overly prescribed pain meds, the nurses would write down "refused care", unacceptable. I have spent numerous hours in local OKC health facilities and this is by far the worst of them all. There is NO oversight of staff and NO accountability. Again, the doctors do not care or have no time for their patients. Unacceptable care. Wound care would go as much as a week without changing bandages. We'd complain to staff, but only get "it's not written down so I cant do it" response. Why would it need to be written down to change soiled and stinking bandages. Very disappointing. STAY AWAY!

My husband and I wish we had done our homework before he went to the NORTH location. He had to start asking for pain meds 1-2 hours before they were due just to get them on time...he went for wound care and AGGRESSIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY that wasn't very aggressive. The lead therapist didn't like it that I was "vocal" about allowing my husband to do for himself what he does at home and get out of his way and when my husband started speaking he was told that I was either going to stand in a corner or be outside the room during his pt. My husband told this therapist that if I wasn't in the room then therapy wouldn't happen. My husband was then told that if we didn't "do as we were told" then he would be discharged.. my husband replied "don't threaten me.. bring the damn papers"! We were discharged 2 hours later. If we'd have done our homework we NEVER would have gone there. I just want to warn EVERY ONE reading this ...STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM KINDRED AS YOU CAN!!!! I would not send my dead grandparents to this place. No one should be subjected to the crap that goes on there.

I was very disappointed in the care that my husband received with the wound on his foot. This is the worst hospital that my husband has every been in. The room was dirty, the tray that his food was served on was filthy, my daughters and myself cleaned it every time that we visited. I reported this to the person in charge and for one day they kept the room clean and then the service and cleanliness of the room went right back to the way that it was before. A nurse told me that I could not take my husband out without a doctor's permission but I called Medicare and they said that I had the right to do whatever was best for my husband's care. I would not send my dog there.

I only wish I could give them a ZERO. My sister has been there 3 times. Well, NO MORE. Each time it has gotten worse. This time, they put a foley in her and didn't get her out of bed except when she had PT. She developed a blood clot that she still has (because they stopped giving her, her blood thinner) and she also developed bedsores. They would just leave her there in bed for 23.5 hours a day and would not get her up. She is overweight and has a prosthetic leg/foot. They didn't want to mess with her. They SAID it was b/c she had a dizzy spell when they got her up to go to the restroom. I don't believe that. They were rude and talked about how heavy she is in front of her. When we got there, the room didn't even look like it'd been cleaned. And some of the hospital crap they use to clean you with, etc was sitting on the sink and one of the bottles was open like someone had already used it. I could go on and on. I AGREE WITH BOTH THE OTHER REVIEWERS. DON'T PUT YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IN THIS PLACE. They have a sign there that says they are one of the "most trusted in the nation". I SAY, "HA!!" PLEASE!! That can't be true. If so, our nation is in deep doo doo. They were much nicer to my sister after they put the foley in her on the 3rd day she was there. They didn't have to get her up to go potty. She got so so so tired of being in bed, she was about to go nuts. And yes, they would have just left her there to shrink down into the bed and fold up too if she didn't ask them to come and raise her up at times. They didn't like having to do that either. They just plan didn't want to do their job. Don't get me wrong, there were a FEW, VERY FEW that were good. But I'd give this place a -10 on a scale of 1-10. My sister will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! They just plain STINK!!

This place ia awful. They will give you your meds late and will say you can't swallow and need a feeding tube when you can swallow fine. They will leave bruises on you from moving you in the bed. This place its horrible would not take my dog there
