Haunted House Restaurant

VERY DISAPPOINTED....

Took my daughter to a birthday dinner there in October, the food was great, Steaks were divine - made up for the shabby appearance of both the interior and exterior of the place. Then Last night went back - WOW what a difference - food was awful, steak was very blah and under cooked - no seasoning at all, daughter's Pasta was nothing like last time and granddaughter's mac and cheese was with Hard chunks of cheese. New cook maybe, if so FIRE HIM IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!



I don't know ---but me....if you are charging about $40 for a steak (a la carte) then the atmosphere should be in that class - not with paint chipping off the ceiling, holes in ceiling- just looking run down in the room we were in last night... I know they are saying "haunted" that does not have to mean run down and not cared for.

We just wanted to find a place to eat in OKC because we had spent the day running around the city. When we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation and we were obviously under dressed. A glass of wine cost me $11, and the food prices were ridiculous. The place itself was very interesting, and we're thinking we might go for our anniversary or another fancy occasion. Be advised, this restaurant is not somewhere you just "try" unless you plan on paying about $80 per person.

This restaurant offers an elegant and romantic setting. It is pricey, but worth it if you are celebrating a special occassion.
