Lucky House

Small quiet restaurant in shopping center. My son and I stopped after a sports competition. He liked the dumplings and chicken Lo Mein. My Kung Pao Chicken was very oily and some of the vegetables were turning. Service was fine and prices reasonable.

Not good. I prefer Mahzu so I'll use that as a standard to compare. I ordered the sea weed salad and it was slimy and not fresh. I also ordered the calamari appetizer. It was THE worst calamari I ever had. It was so overcooked the squid was brown and tasted fishy. I don't think it was even cleaned as there was some king of black stuff on the inside. The waitress was not very friendly and I had to flag her down for another drink. I will not be going back ever, I'll drive the extra 5 minutes to the superior Mahzu instead.

LOVE lucky house. I always find myself here. Sushi & food ALWAYS fresh and yummy. This place is a gem!

This place is really great for real Chinese food. We had the chef special steamed boneless fish in a brown sauce that melted like butter. Honestly, one of the best pieces of fish I ever had. We took Estelle for Mom'S Day and also had the delicious Happy Family on the sizzling platter. Won ton soup not salty, just tasty. I think they make their own dumplings.mmm..... Who would think in a strip mall in Norwich? Also, they have a sushi bar. The chef gave us a complimentary roll (No raw fish so Estelle tried too.). Lovely presentation. We hope they do well. For the kind of restaurant they are it is a five-star restaurant, ESP. because of the delicious food and fresh decor.

Delicious, fresh... and did I say delicious? Best I've had in ages!
