We came down here for vacation and had car trouble, took it til firestone and they told us they could not do the repair to take it to ford or gt auto...we called both places and what could have been a very costly repair turned out to be a very satisfying....thank you so much guys for understanding our situation and taking fantastic care of us...words cannot express how very pleasedifferent and happy we are....thank you

I am a local and have known the family who owns the business for years. Great work done at a fair price. They can do almost any job from a basic oil change to replacing an engine or transmission, on both domestic or foreign cars. A simple oil change can often be done while you wait. They were also up front when they had to tell me on one occasion that I would have to have one job done at a dealership. I refer my friends and visitors/tourists to GT Auto Works. I have never had a complaint from anyone I have referred to them.

Our engine light came on during our annual trip down to Myrtle Beach. When I arrived at our destination, I asked our server at dinner for the name of a reliable garage in town. The restaurant manager gave me the address and phone number for GT Auto Works. They got my car right in even though they were in the middle of moving their business down the street a bit and had plenty of vehicles to work on that day. Within 24 hours my vehicle engine was repaired and running smoothly again! They even brought me back to our condo in their own vehicle when I dropped my car off there! I have saved their name, address, and phone number for future reference so next time I am visiting and experience car trouble, I will know who to call! Thanks Bruce and GT Auto Works for treating a tourist like one of your own! I sure appreciated the great service and friendly, honest people at your business!

I wouldn't trust anyone else to do anything to my vehicles. They are honest, trustworthy people who do only what is needed to your vehicle. "If it ain't broke they won't fix it". They will tell you what they recommend, let you choose. Their work is exceptional, their pricing is honest! Again, I have to say THEY ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE I TRUST TO DO WORK ON MY VEHICLES! They are friendly, kind, hardworking people. They can paint vehicles, repair them, do custom work, restoration work, anything you can imagine on a vehicle they can do. I could fill an entire page about them... but suffice it to say they are the best repair shop on the beach, hands down!!
