I went in for a formal hairstyle and formal make up for an military ball and the staff did an amazing job!! I'm a very laid back client so I told them to do what they wanted to and the results were spectacular. They were really friendly and they made me look like a movie star.

This is my favorite place to shop! I've always been acknowledged as a customer there and the girls who work on the cosmetics side are always willing to help me find what I'm looking for and so much else. They're sometimes out of stock, but their stock gets replenished on Fridays. I've always been pleased when I get my hair trimmed up, but the hotspot is the benefit brow bar! It's $21, but so worth it! The benefit girls measure your brows, arch them and even show you what products to use to make your brows look amazing! I always shop this Ulta for my beauty products and I hope one day Ulta will get more luxury brands!

Let me start out by saying that I am a very untrusting client when it comes to finding new hair stylists. I have had many terrible cuts in my life and do not wish to repeat. Any time I find a stylist I love, circumstances have moved me from them. My latest stylist can consult, wash, cut, and style in 40 minutes flat and I walk away with a style I asked for and love. I finally got brave enough to try Ulta salon after a friend of mine had a great experience. I called and made my appointment with Montana. I made sure to ask how long she had been styling and if her clients were generally pleased. The lady assured me that she had been a stylist for 14 years and as far as she knew no-one went away unsatisfied. I got there and showed her the picture of the cut I wanted, and she said absolutely! She shampooed and conditioned my hair thoroughly (my favorite part) and got to cutting. The whole time I was super nervous. But the end product was more than I could have asked for. I have found my new favorite stylist. She knows what she's doing and has a client in me forever. If I could rate my experience 6 stars, I would. The best thing: I walked in at 3:40 and was turning the key in my car to leave at 4:25. Killer service in record time. I'll take that. Go see Montana at Ulta salon NLR. You won't regret it.

Do not, I repeat, do not go to this salon. I had a simple hair appointment scheduled at 3:30, I showed up at 3:10, and proceeded to have the worst hair appointment of my life. I showed the "stylist" what I wanted, a trim on the ends with face framing layers touching my jaw, she glanced at the photo and led me to a back room to wash my hair. After my shampoo and rinse, she sent me back out to sit in the chair while I held a soggy towel on my head for a good five minutes while she drank some coffee. She then combed my hair, so roughly I could hear my hair snapping and breaking. She barely trimmed any hair, and my shortest layer is still below my shoulders, nothing like what I asked for. OH and then she blew out my hair with a boar round brush that had hair still on it, disgusting, and I feel like my scalp should have been bleeding, she was THAT rough. I was nearly in tears throughout the process and today, a day later, my scalp is still sore and there are small bruises on my neck. After this terror, she applied so much product to my hair and straightened it until it was pin straight and looked like it had been glued on, I couldn't even run my fingers through it, it was that greasy. She charged me ten dollars to straighten my hair when I asked for a natural looking wave. Above all, this entire process, a wash-cut-dry-straighten took OVER TWO HOURS! I will never ever EVER return, needless to say, and would really like my $50 back. I am extremely dissatisfied.
