If you don't want your kids suffering , please stay away from this terrible office ! My 3 years daughter went there for a dental surgery , she end up stayed in hospital ICU room 4 days . She went there for crowning and filling her teeth but instead , she got PNEUMOTHORAX which she had to do another operation to put a tube on her chest to let air out . All because of their medical malpractice ! Curse of your guys to let a 3 year old kid suffering such a huge pain . Now she is afraid of any other people outside of family member after this nightmare ! Beside pneumothorax , her teeth kept bleeding for 3days after put on the crown which was awful !.

After my case , I found two of my friends they also had problem with this office . One was charged for the service her kids hadn't done . Another's daughter suffered 2 weeks pain after they pulled out her tooth . They only want to make money ! Don't get cheated by their beautiful office !

STAY AWAY ! DON'T GO !

The staff and dentist are always so nice and comforting to my daughter. They had to do a filling and managed to keep her calm. Thanks for all you do.

I have been visiting Tender Smiles 4 Kids for five years already. The staff is very friendly and there was no waiting time at all.

Absolutely awful! When I had called to book the appointment I told them what insurance I had and they said that they accepted it. Then I was hit with a bill over $200. When I called and asked why I got this bill they said yes we do accept your insurance but our dentists are not in your network and I am supposed to know the difference !!!!!! This is not the first time they've gotten me for money but it is the last. And I will be sure to tell all of my friends and family to avoid this place !!!

The entire staff over at Tender Smiles 4 kids are absolutely great. They are always so friendly and helpful to the patients but also the parents as well.

What a great dental practice. From the front desk to the dentists checking my kids teeth- they are all outstanding. They do not even mind going to the dentist now, that makes me happy!

5.0 I loved the way the Dr Max took care of my son. The staff was very attentive to his needs and they were able to take x rays which is a great achievement as he hasn't been able to take x rays anywhere else.The new office in New Brunswick is really nice and not that far from the Somerset location either

My daughter was naturally scared of visiting the dentist, but what an amazing experience for her! From the moment we walked into the waiting room, everyone was so kind and friendly. The Dentist and Dental Assistant took their time with my daughter and engaged her in all that they were doing. I recommend Tender Smiles for Kids to all parents! The balloon and gifts at the end where a special treat as well! Wonderful experience!

When our children were born we simply took them to our regular (non pediatric) dentist for 6 years. One child does great with dental hygiene, the other doesn't do as well and her baby teeth have unusually high peaks / low valleys. At 6 years old all if a sudden gets 4 cavities - one in each if the 4 farthest molars.



She is also an unusually small, active child. We wanted our regular dentist to sedate and numb however, his office does not sedate under a certain weight.



We interviewed at TS4K and they specialize in pediatric dentistry. The have years of experience sedating infants, toddlers, preschoolers, the disabled, etc. I was hesitant trying a new dentist for such a procedure when we were so happy with our original long term dentist.



The staff and Dr.'s are so genuinely caring. My daughter was treated with the utmost care. The sedation went perfectly and to my amazement - they filled all 4 cavities in just 30 minutes. She felt only minor discomfort was was eating a full meal by dinner.



Both my children have now been TS4K patients for over 3 years. One child had 4 baby teeth pulled in one appointment to make way for permanent teeth - no problems. My second child has the same problem and will have 3 very loose baby teeth 'helped out' this week. The dental hygienists do an incredible job of communicating cleaning needs. Neither of my kids have had any cavities since transferring here.

Cheating!

They are only interested in money from you and insurance! and via cheating!

I had my daughter an emergency appointment to pull two teeth out. We only talked about to plan to have a space maintainer next year. But they immediately billed the insurance for $250 for the space maintainer which was not done yet. we called them many times, then they promised to refund the money to insurance, but they never do it.

Due to the highest amount of insurance coverage of $1750, we lost $250 insurance coverage for my daughter's other dental visitings this year. Moreover, the insurance only covers the space maintainer once every 24 months, we cannot get the insurance coverage when we are going to have the space maintainer next year. So we lost $500 due to their cheating!



Please never visit their office if you have any other dentist around!

My wife and I love Dr Max. Being in the industry I am very aware of all of my options for my son. I chose this office mainly due to Dr Max's educational background, his continued education he gets throughout the year as well as his honesty. His state of the art facility which features all of the latest innovations in dentistry is top notch and a great/inviting environment for a child. The open floor plan is perfect for children which features TV's above every chair to keep children relaxed throughout their visit

My three kids have been going to Dr. Max for years and they love him! They always ask when we're going back as their visits are always pleasant and pain-free. The staff is very friendly and eager to please and accommodate every request. We never have long waits to be seen and Dr. Max is great with pediatric preventive treatments which saved us a lot of time and $$ when we began orthodontic care with Dr. Chan who is excellent. Dr. Chan helped us avoid surgery via orthodontic procedures as my son had severe under-bite. Due to regular visits and following Dr. Max’s orders, I am happy to say that my kids are cavity free! Dr. Max is absolutely great with kids and takes the necessary time to clearly explain current and future dental treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Max and Dr. Chan!

Visited this place twice and can clearly say it is all about treating you to get more money from you. Got charge over $700 for one visit....that after they took money from insurance. Promise my kid balloon and toys , forgot. Poor kid got very upset. Same thing happened second time. Plus promise to talk about cleaning routine and again forgot. But never forget to collect the money.

Usually finding a dentist is a headache but i found tender smiles for kids on yellow pages.com and read the reviews and decided to give them a call. I have to say that it was a very smart decision on my part to give them a call. My dentist really focuses on adults and isn't that great with the kids and to be honest i never really knew there was such a thing as a pediatric dentist. They work with all type of insurances and can even give you a rough estimate as to how much your particular insurance will cover. My four year isnt the best patient to have but i have to say that Dr. Max Sulla was great with him and i would recommend this dentist to everyone who has a child!

I brought my kids to TenderSmiles4Kids and both my daughter and son had 2 cavities each and they both were terrified of the dentist...including me! However Dr. Max Sulla was able to use a laser to get rid of the cavities with no shots or drills. I was really amazed! I am so happy I brought them here and I would highly recommend Dr. Max Sulla as your pediatric dentist!

My child has a tooth ache and we called up Tender Smiles 4 Kids. They got us in that day and Dr. Max was funny and friendly with my daughter. She was relaxed and not nervous so when it was time for her to get a shot she didnt even know she got one. She left happy with prizes and balloons. Overall it was a great experience for my child and the dentsits and would recommdend this office to all my family and friends.
