        We train the dog for you! American Dog Obedience Center is the premier dog training experience. You’re just 3 weeks away from behaviors most families can only dream about – and a happier dog. Beyond the results of our dog training programs are enhanced relationships between people and their dogs.People have fallen in love with this training system! Following dog training at American Dog Obedience Center ‘s boarding school, our clients use their limited “dog” time at home in pursuit of achievable, realistic results with their dogs, even when other methods have previously failed. Of course, dogs love the significant increases in participation within their families too. Dogs become reliable, including off leash, and they maintain a great attitude because they are able to understand, clearly, what is expected. As a result of this training system, the scope of interactions between my clients and their dogs usually broadens. They enjoy their time together! Often far more is possible than was imagined – and this re-energizes and enhances the entire relationship.

        American Dog Obedience Center is THE premier boarding school for dogs. We cater to busy families who do not have the luxury of time needed to produce a well behaved dog that enjoys and is enjoyable in the family setting. We offer a $100 discount to active and former military personnel as a small token of our appreciation for your service.
        Location
        We are approximately 8 miles south of I-40, off of Choctaw Road. Technically we are within City Limits of Norman, but our location is much the same as SE Oklahoma City. Being so close to I-40 and I-35 makes our location convenient from anywhere in Oklahoma and for our out-of-state clients
        Amenities
        Dogs that stay at American Dog Obedience Center enjoy spacious kennels inside an indoor building, located in a quiet country setting. Our work areas are large and each dog runs and plays several times each day as a part of the training process. Trainers' home is on premises. This is our FULL TIME job!
        Associations
        We hold a kennel license from the City of Norman, OK and belong to APDT - Association of Professional Dog Trainers. We hold AKC performance titles in obedience, agility, rally, and field - including a 2013 AKC National Agility Championship. In 2015 we earned FitPaws Master Trainer status in the field of canine fitness.
