Niagara Kennels

I just recently started bringing my very young kitten to Niagara kennels and from the very moment I walked I was greeted with big smiles!
A little background info: my kitten is a stray and had a "dead tail", and there was clearly something wrong with it, we just didn't know what caused it but it wasn't hurting her and she wasn't in pain. A couple days later the dead part of her tail fell off leaving a fleshy open wound. I brought her to an animal hospital, they told me to keep a cone on her 24/7 for 2 weeks and needs constant attention/supervision. Seeing as my fiance and I both work during the day, leaving her unattended with a cone on was NOT an option especially because she wasn't used to it. I called Niagara kennels and spoke with John, he told me everything I needed to do, all her vacs up to date and told me to come on in! Now, I wasn't super excited to bring her to an unknown kennel seeing as she's the love of my life lol john and joann have been so welcoming and instantly made me feel better about leaving her there all day. They made sure she was comfortable, that her cone stayed on and were very understanding of my anxieties about leaving her. They've been a great help, very knowledgeable & such a pleasure to see and talk with every day I come in!

Recently boarded and had my dog groomed at Niagara Kennels. We were very satisfied with everything. The owners are very personable with over 35 years of experience. Prices are very reasonable as well. Already recommended them to another friend.

eware of their unknown additional charges. They do not notify you about it until the last minute. When you give them an opportunity to respond to your inquiry then they respond Rudely and unprofessionally . I would not recommend them as they need to provide better customer service knowing the fact that they have made an error and did disclose this additional charge on their website. Now be well prepared to see a really long response to this post trying justify their mistake instead of owning up to their responsibility of misinforming customers.

I am a new dog owner. My dog is nearly 7 years old and pretty much set in her ways as she is stubborn, anxious, and very energetic all issues of which I thought would present as problems with her first grooming appointment since I acquired her. Niagara Kennels was so accommodating with my need and their schedule as well as patient in caring for my anxious dog while she was with them for the days grooming session. I arrived at the pick up time I was quoted and my dog was ready for me even though I requested a quick trim on the tail (a little shorter) as that is how I preferred it for the summer.Check out was a breeze , fee was affordable and reasonable,and all were very satisfied. My dog looked so beautiful and clean. Yes, there was anxiety when I left her, yes there was anxiety when I picked her up but all too common for first time pet visits most anywhere. I recommend this grooming facility and have been pleased with today's results and are making plans for our next grooming appointment. Joanne saw us out and reminded me that if I need to contact them about anything for me to feel free to do so. I found the groomers informative, kind, careful, experienced, and I was thrilled they were eager to make my dog look as I desired her to look . My dog and I will be returning customers to this team of groomers at this facility.

we have been using niagara kennels for all of our dogs and puppies for years.for both, grooming ,and boarding. we have been nothing but very satisfied,the dogs are always well taken care of , very happy, and looking great when we leave. we

have and would recommend them to anyone who loves their pets.

I have used Niagara Kennels for the past 3 years and my dogs are always happy going in and healthy coming out. I have used kennels in the past and never been so comfortable with their "down to earth" business sense, because our dogs are our kids.



I even call them when I have dog questions and every time they were right on the money. I feel for people running kennels being in business myself because it is very hard to keep everyone happy but they certainly do their "doggone best" to make it happen.

I brought my dog home from his most recent and last stay at Niagara Kennels this week, and his behavior had changed--he was nervous and jittery and has been vomiting for 4 days now (I am taking him to a vet). The owner suggested that I should give my dog tranquilizers. Whatever they did, they didn't do it right. I won't be going back here.

This kennel takes great care of your pet. The staff are very friendly and will accommodate your schedule if you give them notice. Great prices too!
