Labayen Michelle

Hired Ms. Labayen to handle a breech of the automatic stay that occurred during my bankruptcy proceedings with another attorney. Ms. Labayen wrote a settlement agreement that misidentified the opposing party, misidentified the property and wrote that the laws of the State of New Jersey would apply for a judgment and property which resided in Georgia. Upon questioning of these facts she claimed there was nothing wrong and insisted I sign it. If I did not check every aspect of her work I would have signed a completely unenforceable settlement agreement. Was only able to satisfactorily settle the case after her services were terminated.
