Days Inn by Wyndham Newark Wilmington

Absolutely the worst experience in all my travels. I was there for 9 weeks on a DCR project and between the residents that live there fulltime, smelling marijuana coming through the exhaust vents in the bathroom and the filthy conditions of the hotel not including housekeeping not cleaning the tub, sink and toilet is just a reflection of bad hotel management.
DEFINITELY NOT FIT FOR HUMAN OCCUPANCY!

People are pleasant room was clean and breakfast was a,bit better than average

Stopped here overnight in early March 2011. I booked the room online while on the road, then found a coupon that would give me an additional $20 off. Despite advertising "Best Rates Guaranteed" on their sign out front, they refused to honor the coupon.



It was about 10 o'clock at night when I arrived, so I didn't notice how filthy the exterior was until the next morning.



I booked a non-smoking room but it reeked of smoke anyway.



The sheets were clean, however, there was something that looked like either coffee grounds or tobacco all over the bedspread.



Some thing sticky had not been wiped clean from the counter of the bathroom sink.



Operating the shower was difficult.



Despite never asking for a wake-up call, I was called twice between 6 and 6:15 but was unable to stop the ringing because the receiver button was stuck.



The free breakfast had such a limited choice that I decided to go elsewhere.
