Sardi's Restaurant

We had a wonderful dining experience! The entire staff, from coat check to our very pleasant waiter, made this an unforgettable experience. Sardi's was recommended by a close friend and long time patron, and I am so glad we chose to take his advise.



Our meal was delicious. The soup (shrimp) was an and excellent appetizer and the bread selection made it very difficult to make a choice, they all looked so good. (I have to admit that I did have a taste of my son's selection.) My main course was the crab cakes and, though they were excellent, I wish that I had chosen a more unique main course. However, I was extremely pleased with the taste of my salad that accompanied my main course. My mother chose the scallops which were both aesthetically pleasing and per my mother, extremely flavorful and delicious.



Although we do not usually have dessert and we were quite satisfied, we did share a Creme Brule, and again I was so happy that we did! Creme Brule is one of my favorite desserts and the chef prepared it perfectly.



I was extremely appreciative of the consideration made and patience by many in my daughter's diabetic nutritional needs. We do not get to travel often as a result of my daughter's new diagnoses, and have received resistance from other restaurants to requests for carbohydrate counts.



Finally, the atmosphere was even more than I expected, having been prepared by my friend. It was warm and welcoming and I think that I actually smiled throughout my entire visit.



Sardi's made our trip to New York that much more enjoyable and hopefully I will be able to get to New York in the near future and visit your restaurant once again.

This restaurant is "old New York" and really caters to the theater crowd. In and out in time for the show with special Broadway menu items.
