Michael S Chang, DDS

My experience after YEARS as this man's patient is that Dr. Chang is actually a very fine dentist, but be prepared for a Jekyll/Hyde situation. The good doctor seems to have some kind of weirdo control/OCD issue. He seems downright irate a lot of the time (no, it's not my imagination), and it's a shame because he's basically not a bad guy. He just seems to lose perspective a lot. All in all though, I don't need to feel judged and talked down to BY MY DENTIST, for cryin' out loud. I'm really not very sensitive, am educated and quite normal, I'm not dumb, I have a sense of humor----this guy still is way too moody and sometimes downright nasty to deal with. The girls who work there seem like they're terrorized, but remain very professional. Again, the guy is more than competent. I just think if you're a doctor and you're having a bad day, your patients are not where you should get snappy, rude and condescending. Don't ask this guy any questions about YOUR OWN TEETH on a bad day...unless you feel like being chastised as if you're a naughty Catholic schoolboy. YIKES.



I'd rather have a less brilliant, but competent dentist with a decent attitude.
