Friday nights are a Mediteranean dance festival. Live band, belly dancer, and everyone gets up to dance (or watch if so inclined). Some people are dressed up and some in jeans and a nice top. Very informal, friendly and fun.
Sat. is Tango night. Get in early for the lesson and then practice the rest of the night.
Both nights provide a lot more than just a meal out.

Provided by SuperpagesIts a great place for lunch any day of the week. Its got a long bar and a high ceiling ballroom area that is used for tables or cleared away when there's dance lessons given. Every table is immediately served with bread and Greek olives. The food is well prepared and comes out really quickly no matter how crowded. All of the servers are attentive and pleasant. The owner will sometimes seat you and call the women patrons 'princess' in an amiable and old fashioned way and cracks corny jokes that lends to the overall charm of the place. It seemingly has a hodge podge collection of art on its expansive walls but its really a showcase of local talent for sale. Its usually very interesting and turned around inevitably as I've not seen the same piece for too long. I recommend the greek salad, chicken sandwich, or anything on the specials menu.
