Nougatine at Jean-Georges

Had dinner at Nougatine on 12/23 and it was the perfect start to our week in NY. We had the 5 course tasting menu - at $68 pp it was a bargain for what we got. Started with amuse of this cute little fried cheese ball and tomato soup. Next was tuna tartare, then Foie Gras served on toast with this amazing meyer lemon jam. Main courses included a red snapper and beef tenderloin. Dessert was a sampler of apple tart, chocolate cake (with an ouzzy center), apple cider sorbet. Great service and ambiance overlooking the park. Would definitely go back.
