        Arthur J. Teichberg, Attorney at Law, P.C., was founded in 1959 by Arthur J. Teichberg, a graduate of New York University School of Law. Mr. Teichberg has been in practice for over 40 years. Our main thrust is probate and drafting of wills, estate litigation and estate problems for our clients. Our practice includes a vast assortment of matters in estates and trusts. In addition to being a practicing attorney, Mr. Teichberg is also a Certified Public Accountant, giving him an in-depth accounting background to add to his knowledge of law. Many of our firm's clients are out-of-state businesses with interests in New York who require New York legal representation. COMMERCIAL COLLECTION IN CONSTRUCTION We also practice in commercial litigation in the construction industry, seeking to resolve disputes between contractors, subcontractors and property owners. This area of our practice includes a vast assortment of problems in construction, liens, lien foreclosure law suits, and law suits against sureties. Commercial collections of past due accounts receivable in the construction and related industries. No charge for mechanics lien filing if our firm is retained for the collection. We practice in the areas of settlement of debtor creditor controversies. We represent subcontractors, contractors, & property ownswers seeking to resolve disputes including liens, foreclosure lawsuits, and lawsuits against sureties, extended negotiations with debtors ad work out agreements. Concerning debtor-creditor Collections, our fee structure in certain situations offers billings based on percentage of collections made.

        I employed Mr Teichberg last year to prepare a Will and for Estate Planning. I found him to be very knowledgeable and competent. I was very pleased with the results and would recommend him highly to clients. He is a caring individual who was interested in what he does and in pleasing his clients.

        I have utilized the firm of Arthur J Teichberg Attorney at Law to draw a will and related documents, namely a living will, health care proxy and power of attorney. I have found that Mr. Teichberg took an interest in my family situation and was extraordinarily obliging, helpful, and knowledgeable in drafting the appropriate documents.

        Works hard for his client

        Arthur exhibited a widespread and diversified knowledge of estate planning and tax consequences. His overall knowledge in drafting estate documents, including wills, livings wills, power of attorney, and health care proxygarnered significant tax savings for his clients. He earned every every penny of his fee, through his exhaustive estate planning.
