Ocean Trillium Suites

The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. The two double beds had ample space between them, you could stretch out on the couch or kick back in a chair in the living room. The balcony had a direct view of the ocean and if that wasn't good enough, all you had to do was walk outside. The rooms were quiet, I never heard any of the neighbors. And sometimes it's the little things that really set a place off, here they deliver the local paper to your door. Not a big thing, but how many other places do that. It was a great place to stay!!

The rooms were very clean and well appointed. Someone came daily to clean the room. The rooms feature a full kitchen with all necessities available. The view was beautiful. The pool deck was nice with the beach just a few feet away. All in all a very good experience, I will be staying here again in the future.

we just got back from staying the weekend at the ocean trillium suites, this is our third time staying here in the past year. we live on the mainland,, but sometimes like to take a weekend and just relax on the beach. $125 a night for a 1 bedroom ocean front condo, for us. it can't be beat! we went for my husband's birthday, and we were walked next door to chase's restaurant, a fun place too. we will definately be staying here again, we really liked that we didn't have to book a 3 night stay like other places too.

One of the best values and location on the beach. Desk attendant was very courteous and recommended a great place to eat dinner. We were only able to stay one night due to last minute change in trip plans. However, we are already planning another trip to New Smyrna later in the summer. Ocean Trillium will be our lodging choice. You will not be sorry to chose this hotel. Units are set up for the family and have fully furnished kitchens.

Not an outstanding property, but clean, and quiet and it met our needs as a one bedroom condo. The view was incredible. We hand fed birds from our balcony, walked the beach, people watched, and enjoyed the activities of others on the beach. Conveniently located to several restaurants, within easy driving distance. The staff were very helpful and courteous.

The full kitchen is a must if staying more than a few days, especially with kids who want things served the same way they are at home. My family and I stay at the Trillium every year for 4th of July, and are sure to book a top floor room so we can see the fireworks. The pool has always been clean and not crowded, and the bar next door has good food, live music, and its own pool if you are in to a party scene. I have never been bothered by the music from the bar, however, you can go out on one of the two balconies and listen to it if you want. The location is far from the tourist hub of New Smyrna Beach, which some may like, and others not, but there are a couple family-friendly restuarants within walking distance. And of course, walk-onto-the-beach access.

Just got home from a week at Ocean Trillium Suites. Very quiet and comfortable building. We were on the second floor but still had a view of the ocean. Higher is better. Restaurants are nearby and grocery stores a short drive into New Smyrna itself. The beach is very nice and, even though vehicles are allowed to drive on it, that's not a problem as it's tightly controlled. The staff are pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Only suggestion is that the kitchen needs some extra dishes, like juice glasses, and beach towels and chairs should be available as they are too big to take with us. We would recommend this condo.

My wife and I stayed at OTS as part of a vacation package from Transat Holidays. Checkin/out and desk staff - very friendly, courteous and informative. Condo - beautiful views, well appointed, very clean, good housekeeping, nice oceanfront (though unheated...water was 75F in late April) pool. Convenient location with smaller shopping centres, Publix grocery store, restaurants nearby. 'Chases on the Beach', beach club/tiki bar next door was convenient and entertaining, but did not disturb us... music surprisingly shut down before 6 p.m.most days, except around 10 p.m. Friday and is situtated on the side of the building AWAY from the balconies and view. Would definitely stay here again.

Our suite was immaculate. The decor and furniture were somewhat dated, but clean and cozy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location is terrific, quiet and offers some privacy, while near Daytona, Cape Canaveral and Orlando. The hotel suites are well designed to take advantage of the awesome views which the Atlantic Ocean has to offer. We would go there again, and recommend it to others.

It's really everything they advertised. My wife and I have stayed here 5 times and never had any problems with anyone. They really try to pay attention to your needs as guest.

Stayed for a long weekend and loved the Ocean Tryllium Suites. Recommend a high floor if you can get a unit up there for the view. You can see for miles.



Checking was a breeze and we were able to choose a high floor unit. My wife and I ended up taking the stairs as the single elevator is slow and we wanted to drop our bags and head next door to Chases On The Beach which is one of our favorite NSB spots. We arrived at our room to find another couple sitting on the couch. Apparently the gal at check in allowed them to preview available rooms so they were trying it out. We told them we had checked in for this unit so they politely left. View was amazing and the unit was immaculate. The bedroom was large and the living area was aligned with a direct beachfront view. Balcony was a favorite for us though we were angled a bit towards the neighboring property.



From this location you can walk to places for coffee and you have restaurant choices but you are removed from the downtown bustle so it is our ideal spot. The beach is wide enough that even at high tide you can get some sun.



We ended up giving up on the elevator for this trip and just used the stairs. We surely burned off all the fish dip and drinks from Chases next door. We will be back!

Privacy....the units were designed to maximize privacy and to give the allusion of exclusivity. Loved the full kitchen....LOVED The mattress on the bed.

Have stayed several times & love it! Quiet part of the beach, no cars; Chases, a swim bar, is one lot over, but noise does not carry inside; all balconies have ocean view, & bedroom also has sliding door onto balcony, so can hear ocean waves at night. The condos are IMMACULATE & have daily housekeeping. The unit I stayed it was decorated very nicely; not a fancy place, but light & airy. Bed super comfortable & lovely cotton comforters, not those nasty polyester things. I vacation there alone, & feel totally safe, though the entrance balconies are dimly lit; however a key is needed for lobby. The girls at the front desk are super nice, & booking is very easy; there is no minimum # of days. If you care about swimming or have little kids, probably not the place for you, because the pool area is small & the pool is not heated. But then again, one of the reasons, I love it so, is precisely because there generally are no kids there, & it is very peaceful. I will go back again & again because it it an absolutely perfect place for R&R! If I had one tiny negative it would be the carpets in the units; they are clean, but it just seems so much easier to keep tile clean in a beach resort, than carpet.

Great location, nice community and shopping in the area. Check in was easy. Staff at the facility was excellent, Kathy went out of her way to give assistance and tips to the local community. Can hear the ocean waves from our room with great views. Everything we need in the kitchen for our stay. Highly recommend! Thank you Kathy! Very nice!

We just happened to check to see about availability for two nights. When I was told the price and the description of the room, I didn't hesitate to take it. When we got to the room, I was so excited. It was exactly what I was hoping to find. Nicely decorated room, full kitchen, ocean front with private balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. We have already talked about going back!

Great location on beach, just steps away ftom non-driving area and county park. Several restaurants within walking distance. Staff are all very friendly, our unit was spacious for two with everything we needed in the kitchen to cook when we wanted to and having a dishwasher was a plus. Only thing we needed was paper towels as I had packed our essentials for preparing meals. Bed was king so roomy and comfy. View was great and watching sunrise on our balcony was so nice. Have already recommended this great vacation spot.

We booked for a weekend "getaway" - it was just right - spacious and comfortable for the two of us. Great to have the full kitchen. Spacious balcony with a nice view. The staff members that we saw and spoke with (3 during the weekend) - were all cheerful, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that we were enjoying our stay. We really enjoyed New Smyrna, and will definitely go again, and stay at Ocean Trillium - it suited us perfectly!
