What a great store and open 24/7. they also have great pizza and a deli with lots of fresh food. Hot lunches every day from 12 to 12 and only $7.99 which come with soft drink

It's makes me happy read all these positive reviews for Mardi Gras Zone. Good job on part of CitySearch for stepping in and saying "If you are mad at the M.Zone for not being Winn Dixie then you just don't understand M.Zone."



Mardi Gras Zone simply cannot be classified as a grocery store, IT IS AN EXPERIENCE. Business like Mardi Gras Zone are at the epicenter of what keep New Orleans the funky and charming city it is.



Sure, you may find an expired can of beans or a box of crackers that costs .60 more than Walgreens. These are the realities of a family owned local business. What makes this place awesome is that there is nothing like it. It's 24 hours, they have a little bit of everything and the owner is a really nice stand up guy who breaks his back to help the neighborhood.



It's really annoying when transplants move into the Marigny and start complaining about things. These reviews need to be purged. Better yet, GO BACK TO CALIFORNIA!

MGZ is a uniqe Supermarket open after "Katerina" by Benny Naghi I find a wide veraity of food from all over the world and the prices are good comper to big store like that one
