On top of the high prices if u have 5 or more even a baby you pay 18% gratuity. Then they bring you a check asking for more gratuity. It wouldnt be so bad giving it to them.if the service was better. If you complain the manager shelly will surely come and make excuses and be defensive without hearing what you are trying to say. The experience was not worth the bragging rights people have this place. Long line, poor service, big cost... No thanks

Love the seafood platter. The gumbo and the pizza with seafood. Nice place. Busy. Pricey but worth it.

Overall
food is excellent

I had barbeque shrimps that were fresh and delicious. Salmon was excellent too. Price was not bad considering the generous portion and the taste. Although when we went, it was not crowded, the service was fast, and couteous. I highly recommend this place. They do not take reservations, however.

Recommended!!!!!My first visit was in Dec. 2007 after seeing the advertised history of the original Bucktown location. Atmosphere is simple, perhaps to attract business folk, but softened with a bit of photography of Bucktown and vintage looking Barqs, Dixie, Jax and Falstaff art. I chose to eat at the bar since I was alone to leave the tables for groups.Menu pretty much looked like typical seafood restaurant w/fried, blackened, & grilled options. I decided to try the 6" Bucktown Boil pizza w/onion rings. Onion rings came out first, no one know what "small" means. Wow!!! Large rings stacked in a tower of deliciousness w/a hint of hot spice & buttermilk. Hand battered on premises, not from frozen. Crispy and delicious. Although I didn't taste a yeast flavor from the crust, was enjoyable, crunchy outside & soft inside. The seafood was very tender & tasted fresh with a mild hint of spiciness. Staff was very friendly & attentive. Looking forward to trying the dinner menu.
