The UPS Store

Always go there for my Amazon and AT&T returns and to ship gifts. Always friendly employees and the store is usually busy so a little patience goes a long ways. Tammy has helped me multiple times and always gets my items handled quickly and accurately.

I had heard that the employees at this location were a little bit difficult but I had no idea how bad. I went in there with a package for a client. Before going in I got an estimate for the cost of shipping off of ups.com. The minute I got there the girl at the UPS counter was complaining to me about how mean all her customers were. I told her maybe everyone was stressed due to the pandemic, just trying to be nice, but I thought that her complaining to me was very unprofessional. Then she gave me the shipping cost and it was double what the web site estimate was. I asked her why and she said that the web site quoted "corporate prices" while they were a franchise and their prices were different. I told that didn't make any sense to me but I decided to call my client and get approval for the higher costs. While I was calling my client I heard her say something derogatory about me off to the side to the other employee and it really upset me so I told her " maybe it's not your customers attitudes that is the problem but yours". Oh boy that did it, she threw down her paperwork and came out from behind the " covid 19" screen, fold her arms across her chest, stuck her chest out and got right up on top of me like she was going to attack me. I was shocked and got off the phone with my client quickly and told her that I was recording her with my phone and that if she attacked me it would be on tape. She just got even closer and glared at me. I picked up my package and got out of there as fast as I could. I have never had a clerk come even close to doing anything as bad as physically threatening me before. It was awful and I will never go near that store again. The UPS store in Kingwood is also a franchise and I have never had a problem in there. The New Caney UPS has a serious employee problem and needs to get on top of this.
