The Women's Crisis Center, Kentucky (WCC) was established in 1976 as the Rape Crisis Center of Northern Kentucky. It provides a 24-hour crisis intervention, advocacy, community education, counseling and support services for rape survivors. Located in Maysville, Ky., the organization provides services for women, children, teenagers, senior citizens, immigrants and individuals with disabilities. It serves individuals and families in Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Grant, Kenton, Owen, Gallatin and Pendleton counties in Kentucky. The Women's Crisis Center, Kentucky (WCC) also provides assistance for victims who suffer from partner abuse, rape and sexual assault. The organization supports a multicultural program that addresses the effects of language and cultural barriers to domestic violence. In addition, it supports Individual Development Accounts (IDA) and elder abuse programs.
