Avoid Orlando Thrifty Car Rental at all costs!! I booked a week long rental for my wife for $125. When she arrived close to midnight, she explicitly said that she wanted to decline all options but the agent rushed her through the rental and never removed the options. She questioned why the estimate was now close to $300 and was told that this was just a credit card authorization and would not be a charge. When she reached the car, she noticed that it absolutely reeked of smoke (despite a smoke free guarantee). When she returned the car (which she filled up just before arriving at the airport), she was charged $306, which included a fuel penalty for not return the car on a full tank. They never responded to my email inquiries and were rude and dismissive on the phone. This is not an honest operation. There are much better car rental options.

I had my car in the shop twice and both times I tried to schedule a rental from Thrifty in Mountain Home. Both times they did not have vehicles available even though the lot was full. It made no sense not to rent a vehicle that had little chance of being sold for just two days. Poor management.
