    It would be no stars but I have to put 1 to post I had a appointment to have my windshield replace for $185.44 by Joshua but when I got my confirmation email the price jumped up to $234.77 When I called I talk to Mary and ask her why she could not tell me so I told her never mind cancel my order I was not going to be ripped off by them she said ok

    Damaged my vehicle and installed the wrong glass. They used a cheap "Chinese" windshield that came pre-scratched! Safelite promised to follow up but didn't. Broken molding, tear in the headliner too. The tech was a nice guy but I'm not pleased with Safelite.

    My only complaints are that the "technician" broke several clips that secure the molding under the wipers. These clips also secure a large wire harness that passes over the engine. He did not replace the clips or notify me that they were broken. I found this a month later when checking my fluids. This is not my idea of quality work. I would double check any work you have them do before you let them leave.

    I had to wait 3 weeks for special molding and trim to arrive. The first tech had 30 years of experience but, I received another installer on their second visit. The car was a red 1985 300zx 5 speed that I have owned for 20 years. This car has also been garaged and in very good shape . The original Nissan windshield cracked on the passenger side and had to be replaced. I watched the entire installation in my drive-way. After the original windshield was removed the tech found a 2 inch area with minor rust. This area was still solid and could have been fixed easily with some minor sanding and a rust sealant. In fact he should have primed all of the windshield frame. The Safelite tech applied a black liquid to this small area of rust and reluctantly installed their new Windshield,molding and chrome trim. He preferred me to take the 300zx drive it illegally" with no front glass and a storm only minutes away to a body shop 10 miles away. After the installation he stated " that the new windshield will have no warranty and most likely will crack in a few days" The cost was $682.00 and I am totally afraid to drive it out of my garage with this scary windshield issue. My 64 year old wife and I loved this car. I would have taken the Z-Car to a local body - glass shop and never called Safelite.

    If the man doing his job knows how to properly do his job you shouldn't judge that's what's wrong with the world today! Obviously someone was confident in him!

    Safelite tried to charge me $125.00 for a small chip in my windshield. It looked exactly the same after the job was complete. The tech had tattoos all over both his arms and one on his neck not professional AT ALL!!!

    That's great advertisement on this page! There's no service to Port Angeles but if I wanna drive 45 minutes and spend money on gas, I can meet them in Bremerton. I am sure that's a Safelite is a good company, but after being on hold for 10 minutes before talking to somebody, and then having to give them a lot of my information, and then being told that they don't service my area, made me a little upset.
