Do not hire this company! 6 months after they replaced my windshield I had to replace it again and I received a quote from another place that was 70% less expensive.. Not only did they overcharge my insurance company, they incorrectly replaced a plastic corner molding on my car that would dangle in the air after a certain speed, they forgot to replace my registration sticker, and I suspect, gave me a substandard or incorrect windshield because it cracked and ran easily after a tiny pebble struck it. The wait was long (in Brownsville, tx ) and they could not come out to my home due to scheduling.

I have had two repairs performed on my primary car, and a cracked windshield replaced on my son's car and was VERY impressed every time. The repairs were paid for by my insurance, the repair men were prompt, kept in touch, did great work, and were very polite. The replacement was paid for by me ($300 - a bit high) but the work was well done and the glass just fine. So sorry to hear so many poor reviews. Our local Safelite is great!

This company failed at keeping the scheduled appointment, they didnt even care enough to call and say they were not coming! After several appointments I ended up going to another company to get the glass for my truck replaced. Safelite auto is like a circus, FULL OF CLOWNS!

You Never want to hear these dreaded words from safelite; "We'll call you back. " I have been waiting 3 weeks to get a rear glass repaired. I want to use oem glass only. every time I called they would take baby steps and when I hung up then the process stopped. Each time I was told some one will get back to me but no one ever did. After the 3 week I just gave up.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I drive almost an hour out of the way and when I get there they tell me they can't do it because the technician gets of in an hour. AN HOUR. When they originally told me it would take about 30 minutes. So a week later they come to fix it and the glass is a thin piece of junk. Never again will I choose safelite.

Kyle Robichaud did an excellent job on my windshield also he vacuumed the carpet and washed the window. I would hire him again and request anybody who needs there windshield done to get ahold of safelite and request Kyle Robichaud.

Wish I could give it no stars. Horrible experience. Had a small chip in my windshield, insurance company sent them out, they did not communicate that what they were doing could make it worse, and it substantially did. I had a very tiny chip which turned into a foot and a half long crack... They then immediately tried to sell me a new windshield and drove off. I wouldn't have even had them touch my car if I knew that there was a small chance of that happening. I got the impression that they wanted it to crack and were just trying to sell me a windshield. Unacceptable in their performance. Need much better communication with consumers. Go with anyone else
