Russell Construction

I just hired Russell Construction for a garage expansion at my personal residence. I had five different companies come out to bid on the project. The entire project was going to be close to 50 yards of concrete.

Of all the contractors that bid on the project, these guys were by far the most professional and courteous. I was extremely pleased when their bid came in and it was close to all the others.

The project is done now and I can’t say enough about them. They are all very hard working and very good at what they do. The biggest compliment I can give them is that they pay attention to the details, and that is very important to me.

While most of the other contractors came in and said, “Sure we can do that,” it was Don Russell and his partner Dale who absolutely impressed me with the questions they asked. No one else had mentioned rerouting my concrete mow strip, or making certain that the sprinkler plumbing would be operational when they were done, or drainage for that matter. While everyone else seemed to want to pour the slab and get on to the next job, these guys came in and asked all the right questions.

During the multi day pour, they were very fast, and always willing to work around my schedule. They put up with my ‘mid-job changes’ and did so with a great attitude. They had great recommendations and it was obvious that they knew what they were doing.

Don is very meticulous, and that is the kind of boss you want working on your property. I am very pleased with everything they did.

I’m kind of a picky guy myself, and these guys did fantastic. If you’re going to get some work done, I would highly recommend them.

I could add that, even if they are a little more expensive, go with them because they are well worth it, but I won’t, because, truth be told, they were very competitive with their pricing, and for the quality of work they did, and the professionalism, and the ‘customer is always right’ attitude, I would have paid a descent chunk of change over the other bidders just to have Russell Construction do the job.
