    I am glad I stayed with American. I received a flyer from IESI-A Progressive Waste Solutions Company and gave them a call to inquire about their prices. I called the number on the flyer and met with a rude individual,so I called the second number on the flyer to notify someone their office personel was impacting their business. Only to find I was speaking to her husband who admonished me for not calling him first.American has always provided good customer/curbside service.You pay for what you get but I don't believe IESI will be that much cheaper

    What the heck they picked up at random times all of a sudden and I never once complained and today they picked up my trash and the can. It says they are not doing my area anymore but they sure paid themselves the $96.78 three month charge less than a month ago. I don't know how that works but I believe I have atleast a month left. Their are much better company's that are local this company went corporate over a year ago. Just found out. Don't do it you have been warned.

    We signed up with Progressive two years ago and until the last couple of months, their service has gotten terrible. Trash thrown all over road, garbage can lid left open in pouring rain, rude so-called supervisors returning calls. The gal that answers the phone in their East Texas location in Eustace has 0 class when it comes to customer service. The problem now is they claim they have a 12 hour widow to actually pick up our garbage, which is plain stupid when these trucks drive the same route. Their out is that weather prevents delivery on certain day because of such weather. That in itself is a statement designed for the stupid and uneducated to believe. Sadly we just renewed our service for 90 days for farm and ranch just outside of Eustace. We cannot wait to get to the end of our paid contract period to get rid of these people. I much more to say about their unprofessional conduct in rendering their services, but there is not enough room to tell the whole story on this page. John J.     I have had service with Progressive for a year and a half. Over the last 2 months, the driver has failed to pick up my trash about every other week. The first time I contacted the office, I was reprimanded for not calling within 24 hours. Really?? Most recently, the driver did not pick up my trash on Tuesday, which was Mardi Gras. I called first thing Wednesday morning to verify that there was service on this holiday. I was told YES and that my trash would be picked up that day. Here I sit, on Friday, looking at my trash which has yet to be picked up. I asked for a supervisor to call me. No call! I have cancelled my service with Progressive and advise all others to not chose this provider for trash collection.

    This is the worst garbage company ever I had them for 10years and the first 8 where fine no problems! Then the last two years have been calling complaining,not picking up for 3weeks then coming when ever they want really it's a wed. pick up and they would come on Saturday . They never pick up on time then they took half my garbage and I'd call and out are divers wife was in hospital and he got a call so he had to leave ! Ok well I felt bad till they did it almost for a month ,then the did it again a five months ago saying I had more then 96 gallons (whatever) my own can is what I use I bought it as a 40gallon and the new driver said it was more then the limit ,ok again whatever so I complained and told them after a month of complaining I told them I wanted to have some one for there come and measure ,even says on can 40 ,lol no one came and they started picking it all up then here we go again picking up when they won't,done going some where else Fed up with complaining and calling !!!

    It took them 3 weeks to come pick up my trash. Every time I call , the call center claims they are sending someone right away. They then left trash in the road where I had to go pick it up. Then the following week I am back to the same situation of them not coming to get my trash.

    I do not have a clue what has happened with this company over the past 6 months, but I am done dealing with them not providing services that I have paid for. I truly feel sorry for the ladies that have to answer the phones and make up excuses and deal with all the angry customers because the operations manager refuses to do his job.

    I live 5 miles outside of Diana and was visited by the Progressive Sales Rep and told how great their service and pricing was and after looking at the prices I was impressed and switched. I've been a happy customer for over a year now but about 6 months ago they hired a new driver for my route that cna seem to learn it and I have to call the office all the time and complain that my trash was missed again and they will come out Monday or Tuesday to pick up the weeks trash from the presvious week and I tell them he still has to come out Friday for my normal pick up day and he never does! This doesn't mean you get to pass me up you are playing make up for missing a week and I pay 3 months in advance for weekly trash pickup. I wish I had stayed with the company I with and thta old saying you get what you pay for has been proven again! I did take the time to email Canada and let them know this has become a personal war with me and trash guy. I feel like he doesn't want to mess with me since everyone else on my street has Tabor and they get their trash picked up weekly but not me! The kicker is I found out the rates are the same. Oh well if I could rate the ladies in the office I would give them 3 stars for alwasy being nice and trying to help me but the driver I want to follow to see what he really does all day other than driver 80 plus miles an hour down Hwy 154 past my house and never check up to pick up my trash. Oh how I wish he had been clocked by Hwy Patrol driving that fast! He will get caught doing whatever it is he is doing.
