EZ Storage; offers state-of-the-art security. Our storage units are constructed of the finest masonry with steel partitions. Most facilities have computer controlled access systems. Every facility is fenced and well-lit, with resident managers to help keep a watchful eye on the premises. Hidden cameras, individual door alarms and private pass codes are also available.

Let me preface this review by saying that I have in my 60 years of life never written a bad review. Not that I have never had bad service, unsavory food, poorly made goods, unreliable services, etc. because I have; however, I feel that I am a kind and understanding individual and sometimes you either have to let something go or realize that people may just be having a rough day. That being said, I am also a person who stands on principle and EZ storage has pushed my limits. I rented a small storage unit (5X15) from the Southfield facility for $116 per month on August 27, 2015. I was charged a prorated amount for the 5 remains days in August. However, when I removed the contents in my storage unit on January 7, 2016. I was told that there would be no prorating for the month per the company policy. I asked the manager to contact the company and request that my rent be charged appropriately which I believe she did, and today I was given the answer - no. I am completely appalled at the blatant unfairness of this policy and the company's inability to satisfy a customer.
