Marcin and his crew did an incredible job refinishing and staining our damaged and aged parquet floors, making them look as close to new as imaginable. Not only was the work done in a way that left hardly any odor or dust ( amazing!) but the amount of time Marcin spent to mix us the custom color we wanted, and explaining all options and aspects of the process to us was very helpful and comforting. We moved into our place three years ago, but didn't have the money at that time to redo the floors: the management company from whom we bought the apartment did a lousy job refinishing them, and, having used Marcin 10 years ago to do the floors in another apartment I'd owned, I knew I wanted to being him in to do this job too.



Given the fact that my wife and I are in a one bedroom apartment, and couldn't move all the living room and bedroom furniture into the kitchen and bathroom, the job had to be done in two two-day stages. The first day was devoted to sanding, the second to staining and applying the Bona Mega finish. Sanding is an all day affair: it's the toughest part of the job and it's also where Marcin's skill and professionalism are most apparent. We live in a run-of-the-mill apartment in Queens. We love it, but it's nothing special, really. I could see a flooring professional come in and not give full effort simply because of our location and the lack of our building's architectural significance. Marcin came in and, as far as I could tell, approached our project with the same seriousness as if we'd been on Manhattan's Upper East Side. We now have, without question, the BEST floors in our entire building (of 90 units).



Marcin did a spectacular job. He's honest, punctual, and utterly dedicated to his craft. It's plain that Marcin takes enormous pride in

the job he does and it shows in the finished product. The Atomic Dustless system worked like a charm: clean up was minimal. My brother plans on using Marcin for his floors next spring and we are recommending him to anyone who asks.



One thing to bear in mind. Marcin is very intense and focused. So much so that his manner can seem brusque. He's not though. He's just super-conscientous and job-oriented. Ask him a question about techniques or products and he'll answer you in a very friendly manner. I can't recommend him highly enough. If you use Euro Floors for refinishing, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Marcin from Euro Floors did a FANTASTIC job refinishing my oak hardwood floors. When I first moved into my co-op apartment, I didn't have the money to have the floors refinished professionally, so my father did it. Of course, I greatly appreciated the job he did, but he's not a professional and the floors honestly looked terrible after a short time. My dad had tried to stain the floors, but it ended up looking like the floors were painted over. In time, the floors were chipped, pealed and had scrape marks all over.



I chose Euro Floors because they refinished my neighbor's floors in the same co-op and I could see for myself the work they did. Also, my neighbors are elderly and particular, but they had only good things to say about Euro Floors. I can happily say that I had the same experience. They took one day longer than expected to complete the job because it took them so long to remove all the old painted over stain and get the floors back to their original beauty. It was definitely worth the extra day, because my floors look brand new. My upstairs neighbor who has lived in this co-op her entire life verified that the floors are back to their original beauty, because she was there when they really were new!



Another important thing to note is that they use water based products that don't give off a noxious smell and use vacuums on their equipment that basically eliminates all the dust. When my sister had her floors done, her house smelled for a month and she had dust everywhere for weeks. For my floors, the place smelled like when you first paint the place and it went away after the third day. There was a light coating of dust on the walls and curtains, but it was easy enough to just vacuum away.



I'm extremely happy with the work and Marcin's professionalism. I plan to have the master bedroom redone over the summer, so I definitely will be hiring them again.

Marcin and Michael refinished our oak floors to perfection-THANKS! I never thought my floors could look even better than the new ones- but they do. Thanks to Marcin for all his expert advice on floor finish and stain choices. Everyone in our household- including our two dogs- are happy with the results. Minimal dust, no damage to walls and trim, and 3 days- no waiting. You can't ask for a more professional job! And don't let me forget- phone calls are returned promptly, receptionist is courteous and the cost is fair and reasonable.

We got four estimates for the job and the price we received from Marcin at Euro Floors was fair and competitive. Throughout the project Marcin and his assistant were very professional. They were prompt and neat. The method that they use really minimized the amount of dust and respiratory irritants produced during the process. We had a particular problem bridging the floors in the dining room with those in the kitchen. Marcin provided a solution that was far more creative and pleasing than suggested by any of the competitors. The finished floors are beautiful. We recently purchased an extreme "fixer upper" with badly damaged and pet stained hardwood floors. We had several companies come out to give us quotes.

Some were really high and one even said it would take a miracle to do the job and no matter what we paid him it wouldn't be worth it and that we should just replace them. We very much wanted to keep the original floors if at all possible. Just as we were going to give up on repairs, we found Euro Floors. Marcin gave us a very reasonable quote, worked with our tight time constraints and assured us the repair was possible. I cannot even begin to tell you how awful these floors looked and smelled before!! How amazing they are now. All of our friends and family are blown away at how beautiful they look and we are so pleased to have kept the original floors. We wish we could bring that one guy back, who said it was an impossible job and show him these results. We have dealt with many contractors, plumbers, painters, etc. in our journey on restoring this house and this was by far the best experience we have had. They were affordable, professional and stood by their time line and did amazing work.

Euro Floors was very prompt in coming out and giving us a quote. Their prices were very competitive. They started work within days and were finished in time for the weekend! After reading so many positive reviews we had to wonder ... was it all true? Well, yes it is. Our floors were in so-so shape - some areas were covered by tiles, 1 room was covered in carpet and the floors in one room were dark and the floors in another room were light. It was pretty much a mish mash left by the previous owners. We read the reviews, called Marcin, had a consultation and set up a start date. It took a week and the result was unbelievable. You wouldn't even know they were the same floors! They removed the tiles, found plywood underneath, told us about it and we agreed to have additional work done and they laid down new wood in those areas and it looked amazing afterwards. You wouldn't even know there used be holes in our floor. Very professional job and seriously good looking floors. There are a few things that need touching up and we have that scheduled already with them to come back. Go with EuroFloors and you will be very happy.

We had our floors done with Duffy's Floor Service and there was a problem so they came back and did the floors again and there was still a problem so they came back and did it once again and after that we still were not happy so they came a fourth time and did them again but it still was no good. We called Euro Floors and they did it only one time and the floors are perfect, simply beautiful, no problems at all. We are very happy that Euro Floors was able to fix the mistakes caused by Duffy's Floor Service. Congratulations Euro Floors, I will use you when we decide to do other areas of the home.

One of the surprising things was how dust free the whole process was. Other floor refinishing contractors advised us that the dust free claim was just a bunch of bull, but from our first hand experience we found that this wasn't the case at all! Euro Floors has installed wood flooring in my home three separate times. Two years ago, the family room, kitchen, entry foyer and hallway were done. The floors looked beautiful! Shortly afterwards, a section of the kitchen was damaged by a careless workman working on my kitchen cabinets. Marcin came to the rescue and replaced the damaged wood, making it beautiful once again.
