Budget Pool & Spa Tech

I want to go into detail from the beginning of my experience with this company. We are currently looking into buying a house with a pool. Our offer was accepted on the house and the first order of business was to have a pool inspection. We contacted this company to do our inspection (it was 80 dollars for an hour). On the day of our inspection Gary.F said he would give us a half hours noticed before arriving at the property (which we needed because we don't live there, and also because our inspection could take place from anytime between 1 and 3pm) He calls us on his way to the house asking us if we are there, and that he will be there within 10 minutes (ok, thanks for the half hour notice). He calls us about 10 minutes later asking us way we aren't there yet (because it takes us longer than 10 minutes to get to the house. hints why we needed the half hour notice) We arrive at the house, we make our way back to the pool, the first thing he tells us is "I can only see what you can see" so pretty much your telling me your inspection is useless. Maybe I should have been told this when I booked the inspection. This is all Gary literally did. He walked around the pool. He looked at the pump and the heating unit (just LOOKED he literally didn't touch anything or test anything to make sure it worked!!!) he then told us that their was no tile missing from the pool, the home owner who was with us the whole time interrupted him and said yes there is a tile missing and pointed it out to Gary (WOW). At this point we are about 10 minutes into our inspection. Gary starts making small talk with the homeowner and finds out that he is buying another house with a pool. Gary's eyes lit up at this point. And for the next 30 minutes he makes a sales pitch to the homeowner on why he should use him to buy all his equipment and any other pool needs he might have. Keep in mind I am the one paying for this 80-dollar home inspection that is supposed to give me and hour of time to talk about the pool I am purchasing! I was taken advantage of big time . He was so focused on his sales pitch that when he asked for my card to charge me he kept it and put it in his binder and tried to leave with it! I honestly have no idea how this company stays in business. Do not go to this company for an inspection, they will talk to you for 10 minutes look at things without testing them out and then charge your for an hours worth of time. It was so bad that after he left the home owner said "that wasn't much of an inspection".
