Vanderbilt Health Clinic at Walgreens Nippers Corner

I have used this Walgreens mostly for their photo department. They have promptly had my photos ready on time and have been helpful and kind of there ever was an issue. Store is clean and staff is helpful.

I visited the Takecare Clinic inside this Walgreens last November for a flu shot. I received a notice from them that they had billed my insurance and was given an estimated amount that I would owe. I did not hear from anyone again until Saturday May 1st when I received a notice from a collection agency claiming I owed them $10.13. After discussing this matter with the collection agency I was informed that they sent me the letter of which I just stated but never an actual bill. They also claimed to have called me at home 4 times but never left a message. I was told that I really need to have caller ID so I would have known they called. I told the rep that I would like to pay the bill over the phone and was then informed that there would be a 3% processing fee to use a credit card. I agreed and I am assuming that this issue has been resolved. The rep also stated that this would not show on my credit report but, after the questionable billing methods used, I have to question if she was telling me the truth. One word to anyone out there, stay away from the Takecare Clinic inside this Walgreens.
