AT little child development center. L. L. C. OUR program will BE guided by the needs of children and families that we serve. We believe children should BE encouraged to learn through exploration of their OWN ideas and interests. Along with opportunities for social interaction and active learning children are challenged just beyond the level of their present ability and are given frequent opportunities to practice newly acquired skills. Curriculum is planned to meet each child's social. Emotional. Cognitive. And physical needs AS the child passes through predictable and sequential stages of development. Child directed. Teacher supported exploration and learning experiences are designed SO that each child CAN construct knowledge AT their OWN developmental level and pace. We believe active involvement with materials matched to CHILDREN'S skills. Abilities and interests promote problem solving. Language skills and develop CHILDREN'S confidence in their OWN learning. Teachers talk with children individually to ensure that they know their thoughts and ideas are valued. We are committed to provide a safe. Nurturing environment. We believe children should have the Freedom to express a range of feelings in a WAY that is NOT harmful to others. Teachers show acceptance of CHILDREN'S feelings and guide them in expressing their selves in appropriate ways. Teachers encourage children to verbalize their NEEDS. OUR teachers are dedicated to developing each child's learning potential and are sensitive to individual learning styles. This place is an absolute nightmare. No child is safe here. Please read our story.

My infant daughter was injured in the care of Latonya Mercer in July of 2018. Her forearm was cut producing more than 15 separate wounds. I was not notified. My husband was not notified. We never received an incident report. We have never gotten any answers. Latonya Mercer is still employed by the center.

When we questioned Jenni Earp, the owner, she had no answers. Her questioning of Latonya Mercer produced no answers. She was unable to produce the video surveillance footage from the day of the injury and claimed that the camera was faulty.

Our pediatrician sent us to the emergency room where we were told that our daughter's injury was caused by an obvious lack of supervision.

Here are the highlights:
8-6-2018: One adult was supervising 21 children ages 4-10 years.
10-12-18: The adult in charge allowed a three year-old and a four year-old to exit to the outside and had no idea they were missing.

I have shared my story involving my daughter's injury due to inadequate supervision. The state has visited and documented improper supervision twice. Children are not safe at this daycare.

Beyond that, Jenni Earp ignores my daughter's medical bills from her trip to the ER and refuses to acknowledge my multiple communications or accept any responsibility as the owner of the "child care facility."

Find a different place for your child. Children are not safe here. We learned the hard way.
