While at ICO, he received a Presidential Scholarship––one of the top awards given to students and was given the Council of Ethics Professionalism Award. He completed rotations in Advanced Care, Emergency Care, Vitreo-retinal service, Pediatrics, Contact Lenses and Low Vision. He also completed a hospital externship at Chicago Osteopathic Hospital. He was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and Tomb and Key Honor Society. He is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and Wisconsin Optometric Association (WOA). Dr. Samuelson enjoys watching sports, especially the Packers and Badgers and spending time with his children.

Cataracts
Many things can cause your vision to appear cloudy. It may be a prescription change or an ocular health change, such as cataracts. We will need to examine your eyes to determine the cause. Please call the office for an appointment.

It depends on your ocular and systemic health. We generally recommend an eye exam every year. Some eye conditions do not affect the vision immediately, so early detection is very important.
