The Jefferson County Solid Waste Department and Recycling Center serves the residents of Jefferson County. We offer refuse container rentals and site service for individuals and contractors. We also offer grapple truck services for bulk pick-up of tree debris or other refuse. The Recycling Center receives cardboard, plastics, newspapers, aluminum cans, glass, metals, batteries, oil, electronics. Hazardous waste may be disposed of by calling 850-342-0184. The Department does not take refuse from outside Jefferson County and illegal dumping is not tolerated.
