Dr. Michael Hudgins (Ph.D. in Biology) opened Oasis Massage and Bodywork, Inc. in 1999 in Montgomery, AL. His massage therapy work is based on his years of teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology, his training as a scientist, his interpersonal skills, and his talented hands. He is known for his calm and focused massage therapy work that (1) enhances performance (with athletes, stage performers, and musicians), (2) helps people who are in pain, and (3) for his signature work...Stillness Therapy. During any given session, Dr. Mike intuitively applies a variety of techniques to produce the most positive therapeutic outcome. He does not believe that any one technique is a cure-all. His signature work...Stillness Therapy, is an extremely relaxing one-hour session that brings about a calm, centered, and meditative state of being. Stillness Therapy is often performed with the recipient fully dressed.
