Immaculate Conception Church

This schools name is IC School Monrovia. Not ICA. We have the best principal Mr. Jim McMains who with the new parish administrators and a strong PTO has given this school stability. All our teachers are full-time employees with benefits, and are champions of teaching. Our school just went through it's WASC certification process, and will be awarded 6 years of certification. My children are very happy, son on student council, daughter on track team, and honor roll. Student per teacher ratio is great, and school parents are extremely involved.

LOVE this school! My son is VERY happy here. I am an alumni of this school graduating back in the 80's and had a great elementary experience, to this day I am still close friends with my classmates! Love you guys! And had hoped for one day to be able to send my son. I was thankfully I was able to send him finally last year for 4th grade. And even though the school was going through some changes , the families and teachers made my son and myself feel at home. He had trouble with reading during 3rd grade in public school. But now being in ICS for the past 1 and 1/2 year, currently in 5th grade, he has reached and surpassed his reading level and now LOVES to read! The families are EXTREMELY helpful and sincerely friendly. The teachers are very motivated. I am grateful that The Lord was able to allow me the chance to send my son here. If you need assistance and would like to send your child/ children to a friendly, supportive, academically ready , and catholic school, send them here! The principal will work with you regarding tuition. Go grizzlies!

As a current parent at IC school I cannot be more happy with the situation at the school. My kids are learning the highest standard of education, the teachers are committed to the advancement of all students, the principal Mr. Jim Mc Mains is a wonderful, caring principal who is active in every event. The PTO is solid and has raised so much money in the last 3 years it's unheard of. All of us parents are bonding together, working together with the school to create a loving, educational, warm and wonderful place for the kids. In the last 3 years it has become a family, not just a school, and to me it is priceless.

Immaculate Conception Church & School has evolved into a student first environment. Ever since a new principal took over at the start of the 2014 school year, the school's focus has changed for the better. Students, parents, teachers, faculty and the parish are united in educating our kids again. I can't see my son anywhere else and can't wait for my youngest to start next year.
