Cowboy Asphalt

So far, not good. Cowboy did a chip and seal driveway for me. (The driveway is on an incline.) He sounded like he would do a good job. He gave the low bid. However, when he finished the work, he told me that for another $500, he would put down additional sealer. I refused to give him another $500. Since he uses a very fine creek gravel, the gravel has washed badly. Perhaps the gravel is too fine or maybe there is not enough sealer. When I have asked him to do something about this problem, he said that I should have paid the additional $500. This seems fraudulent to me to give the lowest bid and then ask for additional money at the end. So far, nothing has been done by Cowboy Asphalt to remedy this problem.
