Emergency Care
Airport @ Snow Veterinary Urgent Care, located in Suite B within our Great Oaks Veterinary Hospital, is available for your after-hours needs.
Infectious Diseases
We provide both domestic and international Certificates of Veterinary Inspection, otherwise known as health certificates, for cats, dogs, and some large animals. Health certificates are required when traveling with your pets, when transporting them to another state or country, and for some shows and sales. This documentation verifies that your pet has been screened for parasites and infectious diseases.
Electrocardiogram
SurgiVet®: This top-quality monitor for pets under general anesthesia keeps track of blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, heart rate, and body temperature, while also serving as a continuous EKG. The equipment alerts the veterinarian when changes in vital signs are detected.
Immunizations
When your pet needs a home away from home, we offer spacious boarding accommodations that are overseen by a professional kennel staff. Our team monitors all pets’ behavior, eating habits, and overall conditions. Any abnormalities are reported to the doctor immediately. To be eligible for boarding, your pet must be current on vaccinations.

Endoscopy
We’re pleased to offer the pets in our care the benefits of veterinary endoscopy, which is a valuable, minimally invasive procedure that greatly expands our diagnostic and treatment capabilities.

Ultrasound
Our in-house ultrasound unit gives us expanded imaging capabilities, enabling us to look even more closely at the heart, kidneys, liver, and spleen, and investigate tumors and monitor pregnancies (see Reproductive Health ). When needed, we can forward our digital images to a specialist for an added level of evaluation.
Radiology
Our digital x-ray equipment gives us clear, detailed images of your pet’s bones and internal organs. Our x-ray unit is also a valuable tool for locating ingested foreign objects. Sedation isn’t typically necessary for digital x-rays unless your pet is extremely uneasy or is in a lot of pain.

Laser surgery isn’t always an option, so we also perform traditional surgical procedures that require the use of a scalpel for both soft tissue and orthopedics.Your Overton Veterinary Hospital veterinarian will recommend the best course of action for your pet’s specific injury or condition.
