A disappointment on so many levels. I requested a custom arrangement for my significant other. I provided a detailed list of flower typed and quantities. I went as far as to meet with the owner to ensure my arrangement was done correctly. After being quoted $150 + tax + delivery, I paid in full and waited in eager anticipation. When the day came, what was delivered was the ugliest arrangement I have ever paid for. I did not know it was possible to screw up flowers. Instead of 12 roses, I got 8. Instead of 6 Calla Lilies, I got 4. This theme continued for every flower type. The owner (aka The Weakest Link) promised me a $30 combined credit to "make things right." When I tried to use the credit, she refused to honor it in full unless my purchase was greater than $100. An unprofessional, dishonest entity that makes subpar arrangements is the best description of this place. They only got a star because Yelp would not let me give a negative value of stars.

UNPROFESSIONAL! The delivery was for me (supposed to be a surprise as I would assume most are) and she called me that morning to ask how late I would be at work. She never told me where she was calling from, only that she was "a florist". She finally showed up 20 minutes before I told her I would be leaving and 7 hours after she called me that morning. She called two more times for directions, even though she told me she had a GPS in her van. When I answered, she said "hey girl I can't find ya work." When she walked in she complained about the order and the location of delivery. (This is a major business but it is difficult to get to on a major service road in rush hour traffic. Which would have been avoided by an earlier delivery.) She made it clear that this order was inconvenient for her and she definitely ruined the surprise for me. The main flowers in the arrangement were a little wilted but still very pretty. However, the filler flowers looked more like weeds and were dead.

Overall

Good quality flowers, but very poor customer service. My husband paid an extra delivery fee so that I could receive the flowers at work on Valentine's Day, but they didn't even come until 15 minutes after the mail room had closed and other offices were in the process of closing. Luckily the mail room workers were staying late to catch up on things and accepted the delivery. Also, my husband paid extra for a stuffed animal, which didn't come with the flowers.



When I called the next day to ask for a partial refund due to the late delivery and missing stuffed bear, I was told to ask for a refund from the "wire service" since my husband ordered online. This made no sense because he made the purchase through the florist's own website. Basically she was saying "no refund." They were unconcerned about the late delivery and missing gift, and just made excuses about why the flowers came so late. We won't be using this florist again for special deliveries, if for anything else at all. The flowers were very nice (once I finally got them), which is why I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1, but I was really put off by the lack of effort on the store's part to try to correct the situation.

I ordered flowers for a funeral, not only were they not delivered on the day of the funeral, Pat (short for Patricia) insisted they were & someone probably stole them. It was a very small church & very few flowers as most people donated $ to a charity he was fond of-no Peace Lillys were delivered period!

She said she would call the church & see what happened, I told her I wanted a call back with their response-no call back.

She refused to refund money, insisted she would deliver to home. This didn't happen until 2 days later. The flowers were bone dry, & my name- who's name is on the credit card she overcharged - is not even on the sympathy card, nor are the sentiments I asked for.



So much for trying to help local business & thinking they would do a better job for one of their own.
